Event Tracks

Choose Your Own Adventure!

New for 2024, we are excited to introduce a new tailored experience for attendees: Event Tracks!

Event tracks will be a series of events curated around you and the types of content you want! This year our event tracks are broken down into three channels and run by experienced community members. Whether you are a new player or an experienced storyteller, you can access workshops, panels, and games designed for you.

Now you can choose your own adventure to customize your personalized con experience!

Tracks FAQs

General Tracks FAQs

Nope, you’re welcome to pick and choose which Tracks events you’d like to attend!

While we did structure some of the Tracks events to progress in-order, you’re absolutely welcome to attend Tracks workshops in any order you see fit. Not everyone has the same experience so plan your events in a way that works for you.

No, you’re welcome to attend any of the Tracks events throughout the weekend. We’ve attempted to put multiple events at different days and times to accommodate varying schedules.

We do ask that you only sign up for one Tracks event by the same name. For example, please don’t sign up for Storyteller Basics: Running the game on both Friday and on Saturday.

You can register for Tracks events just like any other event. See our How-to Guide here.

Absolutely! Not everyone has the exact same skills or experiences so if you want to jump into something from Storytelling Basics and then attend something more advanced, you’re welcome to!

New Player Tracks FAQs

Nope! We recommend players have played 5 or less games when joining a new player game, however if you feel you’re still a newbie, jump on in!

Anyone can register for newer player games, however we would love to keep newer player games for folks who are either brand new or who have not had as much exposure to the game. If  you or your friend would prefer to have you join them, we understand and will not prevent you from playing, however please remember that part of the magic of discovering BotC is learning the game as newer player. Besides, finding new friends at Clocktower Con is part of the fun!

If you’re hesitant about jumping into a game and not sure how to approach playing in-person you’re welcome to try a new player game. We do recommend that players who are very experienced with the mechanics and strategy try to leave the new player games for players who are very inexperienced. Only you know your own needs so we ask that above all you use your best judgement.

Storyteller Tracks FAQs

While we did structure the Tracks events based on experience level, and don’t recommend the Advanced tracks to brand new players, not everyone is the same and will have different wants and needs. You’re free to sign up for any and all events that will make your con experience fantastic.
